World Wetland Day 2024 Upsc. This takes our tally to 85 ramsar. It is observed on 2nd february every year to commemorate the signing of the ramsar convention on wetlands of international.

Wetlands are home to a wide variety of plants and animals, and assume a crucial part in directing the water cycle. It aims to raise global awareness about the vital role of wetlands for people and the planet.
